Class Name Value Stream Mapping Description Value Stream Mapping (VSM) is a tool used to create a material and information flow map of a product or process. This powerful tool allows companies to map the flow of products starting with raw material, continuing through all the manufacturing process steps and finally off the loading dock as finished product. This is the Value Stream. Based on your Value Stream Map, you can streamline work processes, thereby cutting lead times and reducing operating costs. Prerequisite: So that participants will receive the maximum benefit from this training, we strongly recommend completion of "Lean6 101: An Introduction to Lean Manufacturing" prior to taking this course.
