Safety Awareness For Employees (SAFE)
This course is customized to the client company’s needs
in occupational safety training. This may include: forklift,
HAZCOM, Welding, Electrical, Lockout/Tagout, Fire Extinguisher,
means of Egress, Process Safety Management, HAZMAT, Ergonomics,
Confined Space, Respirator, PPE, and other OSHA-related rules.
Safety
Awareness Committee Training
This course is designed to educate and train employees in
developing a safety committee. Participants will learn how
to form a safety team, conduct safety
meetings, and perform follow-up activities.
General OSHA Awareness -10 Hour
This course is designed for individuals seeking to broaden
their occupational safety education and training in accordance
with OSHA rules. The course is
conducted by an OSHA authorized trainer. All participants will receive course
completion
cards. The course is centered around OSHA regulations.
Incident Investigation
This course is designed for individuals seeking education
and training in the investigation of incidents in the workplace.

and Health Management Systems
As one of over 60 Manufacturing Extension Centers nationwide,
MRC is pleased to offer a free safety and health management
systems program (SHMS). Funded
by an OSHA grant and developed by NC State University, Safety & Health Management
System for Small Businesses is a free classroom-quality, self-instructional,
online training program designed to assist small- and medium-sized businesses
in developing and implementing an effective SHMS that is:
