This course is for senior level decision makers, general managers, supervisors, group leaders, quality managers, and any discipline that wants to upgrade their Six Sigma training from Green Belt to Black Belt Certification to nurture their managerial and leadership abilities to improve business processes and sustain quality improvements.

Those who achieve Six Sigma Black Belt are not only educated on the methodologies of Six Sigma, they are also prepared to become a change agent within their organization, leading efforts to improve processes and the quality of products and services delivered to customers. 

After successfully completing the Six Sigma Black Belt course, participants will be able to explain multiple regression, perform factorial experiments, determine size calculations needed for experiments, and describe the different types of process optimization. Typically, Black Belt projects save $50K to $100K in cost savings in process improvement.

Essential Course Requirements and Prerequisites

Prerequisite is Green Belt Certification. If Green Belt Certificate is not through
MRC, prior approval from the instructor is required to start this course.

Full MINITAB license is required and is not included in the course fee. Current
Minitab pricing $1,780 annual license fee + PA sales tax, but subject to change.

Tuition Includes: Up to four onsite project mentoring meetings. Mentoring sessions must be scheduled and completed within six months after the end of training.

Richard Titus, Jr., Ph.D. | Titus Consulting

Richard Titus, Jr., Ph.D Titus Consulting imageRichard is a Master Black Belt who spent nearly 20 years at Ingersoll-Rand in a variety of positions ranging from operations management, information systems, materials management, manufacturing engineering, design engineering, and more.  Dr. Titus was certified as a Black Belt and Master Black Belt by Six Sigma Qualtec.  He completed executive training with the Mahler Institute, Demand Flow Technology training at the John Costanza Institute of Technology and completed Lean Training with Six Sigma Qualtec and is a certified nuclear auditor and a certified trainer for DDI.  Dr. Titus earned a B.S. and M.S. in Engineering from Lehigh University and has been a lecturer or adjunct faculty member with Lehigh’s College of Business since 2000.  He earned his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Penn State University in May 2019 focusing his research on supplier selection.  Dr. Titus has supported over 350 Lean Six Sigma projects in over 50+ companies resulting in over $50 million dollars of real savings.
