Using real-world examples to reinforce participant learning, our MRC Lean Coaches will provide you with 5S Workplace Organization training through a one-day workshop. This workshop consists of both classroom training and application practice within a simulated manufacturing environment.

5S Workplace Organization creates a safe environment that directly supports Standard Work. 5S techniques are effective in both administration and manufacturing. Learn how to reduce waste by identifying and addressing workplace disorganization issues through creating a 5S System.

Manufacturers Resource Center (MRC)

Gene Kaschak – Gene comes to the MRC with a strong background in product development, manufacturing engineering, maintenance leadership, information technology, and continuous improvement facilitation. His history of leading change management activities and developing training programs for IT system-wide upgrades further illustrates his versatility.  Gene earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University and a certificate in Leadership and Business Management from the Wescoe School of Muhlenberg College.

Michael J. Withka – Mike joined MRC in 2001 as a Lean Manufacturing Consultant and currently oversees the MRC’s Lean Enterprise Program.  Mike has over 25 years of manufacturing experience within various industries including roles as operations director, manager, supervisor, production engineer and internal consultant.  Mike’s areas of focus include production system design, strategic lean transformations, team coaching, leadership, mentoring, training program design, and training workshop facilitator.  Mike is certified as a Greenbelt through the Institute of Industrial Engineers and as a Professional Trainer through Langevin Training Services.  Mike also has earned an A.S. degree in Engineering Science at Middlesex County Community College in Edison, New Jersey and both B.S. and M.S degrees in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark, New Jersey.  Mike earned his M.B.A. at DeSales University in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Note: All registration fees must be received in advance of the date of your event. Also, MRC must be notified two weeks in advance of this event if you need to cancel, otherwise we can only grant a credit to another MRC event. Remember, you can also send a substitute.
