You are invited to join us for a complimentary information session on energy efficiency programs for Carbon and Schuylkill County manufacturers.

Highlights

  • The new ARC Arise program. This program focuses on helping manufacturers explore paths to reduce their carbon footprint through exploring more efficient manufacturing processes and alternative energy solutions. CleanENERGY – We Make It Here.
  • Services provided by Pennsylvania Technical Assistance Program PennTAP. Such as their E2 & E3 energy efficiency programs.
  • Information on mini grants and complimentary energy assessments as well as rebate opportunities to help offset capital investments and engineering studies.

Presenters

Rich Joyce, MBA, CSSGB | Technical Advisor, PennTAP

Rich Joyce, MBA, CSSGB, is a technical advisor with PennTAP, working from the Penn State Schuylkill campus. He performs industrial energy efficiency audits and offers manufacturers guidance in reducing energy consumption and pollution prevention. Rich also connects members of the PA business community, large and small, to resources both inside and outside of Penn State to foster economic development, job growth or retention and product development.

Prior to joining PennTAP, Rich spent 23 years in the manufacturing sector in Eastern PA. His primary areas of manufacturing experience include residential and commercial building products, specifically stairs, doors/windows, skylights, and greenhouses. Rich’s background includes 19 years as a small manufacturing business owner/entrepreneur. 

Rich holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Penn State and an MBA from Alvernia University. He is a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt. 

Shawn Furman | MRC AMT Strategy Manager

Shawn has a 20-year proven, well rounded background in leading process improvements at industry icons directing or managing teams in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Maintenance Management, or combinations of both. Shawn provides the experience and talent small and mid-sized manufacturers need to help them implement their technology roadmap and guide them through the implementation of transformative technologies that are critical to compete and drive their companies into the future.
