This UGI Save Smart Rebate presentation will provide a detailed overview of available incentives for cost-effective natural gas energy efficiency projects from UGI Gas. Energy efficiency upgrades can lower building operating costs by 20-30% with new equipment increasing efficiency and requiring less maintenance.
Currently this program is available to existing and new construction UGI Gas commercial customers in Pennsylvania with a rate class of N, NT, DS or LFD. Commercial, Industrial, Agricultural, and Multifamily projects may submit projects for review.

Chris Hurwitz Bio: Chris Hurwitz currently serves as Senior Program Manager for the UGI Save Smart Commercial Custom, Midstream Commercial Rebates, Residential Retrofit, and Residential New Construction Programs. Chris is responsible for oversight of all program operations, operational and strategic process development, and cost-effectiveness and savings calculation review and verification. He previously was a Program Manager at SmartWatt Energy, where he supervised all aspects of the PECO Small Business Direct Installation program. He also has worked in various management roles in the federal government, solid waste, and food industries over the past 20 years.
Chris has a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from PMI and a master’s degree in Community and Regional Planning from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and Political Science from SUNY Plattsburgh.
