Wendy, Sr. Director, Leadership Development and Training Strategy, brings Leadership and Workforce Development experience to MRC’s Operational Excellence program.
Wendy’s role at MRC is training and coaching in business-critical Interpersonal Skills Development and conducting MRC’s Supervisor Bootcamps to help every supervisor realize and optimize their potential. MRC’s Supervisor Skills Development Courses provide first-level managers, team leaders, group leaders, and others with many of the leadership and communication tools needed to handle the increasingly complex performance issues found in today’s organizations. With her vast experience in leadership development, Wendy will also be creating curriculum for teaching manager essentials for mid-level managers.
Wendy specializes in leadership and customer service training. In that role, she creates and facilitates leadership, customer service and interpersonal skills training programs for Greater Lehigh Valley companies in Lehigh, Northampton, Berks, Schuylkill and Carbon counties.
Wendy worked as an Adjunct Instructor in the Leadership and Workforce Development Department at Lehigh Carbon Community College for the last 25 years specializing in leadership and customer service training.
Wendy has collaborated with companies across a range of industries throughout Northampton, Lehigh, and Carbon counties. She previously worked for Fortune 500 service giants like IBM and Manpower Inc., advancing her career from entry-level through various levels of management. Wendy is also an entrepreneur, having created, owned, and operated the Lehigh Valley’s first children’s museum, designed with a focus on soft skills education. She and her husband have co-owned an award-winning ice cream retail and wholesale business for the last 30 years. Wendy holds a B.S. in Marketing from Oral Roberts University, is a Certified TWI (Training Within Industry) Job Instruction Trainer, a Certified Everything DiSC Practitioner, a Certified Five Behaviors Practitioner, a Certified Emotional Intelligence Practitioner, and has earned a Servant Leadership Certificate. Additionally, Wendy is a 2024-2025 member of ATD (Association for Talent Development).
