MRC - Manufacturers Resource Center

The Methodology of Troubleshooting

MRC’s The Methodology of Troubleshooting is a three-day course taught by Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professionals (CMRPs), and all sessions are held on-site with local manufacturers to enhance learning with real-life examples.  This workshop stresses hands-on exercises and teamwork in order to improve equipment effectiveness, and participants become part of a maintenance professionals’ peer group to encourage networking and the sharing of best practices.

The Methodology of Troubleshooting – Are you maintaining your equipment or repairing it?  Do your people change part after part until your machinery can run again?

Do you understand:

  • What your equipment is supposed to do and why it is doing it?
  • What your equipment is supposed to do and how it should do it?
  • Troubleshooting a process requires structured, organized thinking?

This workshop will provide you with a logical, multi-step approach to solve equipment failures quickly, efficiently and permanently using real life breakdown scenarios.
