Mary Simmons is the VP of HR Compliance for Asure Software. She has over 30 years’ experience as an HR professional. Previously Mary was a Director of HR Consulting for a consulting firm in business for over 57 years. Mary holds HR certifications from SHRM and HRCI and she is a Disc Certified trainer. Mary is an adjunct professor at New York Institute of Technology where she teaches a SHRM HR Certification program and has also taught corporate education classes at Farmingdale University. She is a sought-after speaker for conferences, networking groups and organizations on HR topics such as HR policy creation, employment law compliance and maximizing employee engagement. Mary is the co-chair of the Long Island HR group, the creator and chair of the Women’s Innovative Networking group and on the Long Island board for Ellevate, a national women’s networking group. Mary holds a BS in Human Resources from the University of Delaware.
