Amrish Thaker, Continuous Improvement Coach at MRC, is a distinguished leader with extensive expertise in Continuous Process Improvement leveraging Lean manufacturing principles and the Toyota Production System.

With a steadfast commitment to enhancing quality, service, reliability, staff optimization, and profitability, he strives to drive operational excellence across diverse industries.

In addition to his prowess in process improvement, Amrish is deeply involved in leadership development, offering training and coaching in various critical areas. These include Kaizen events training, daily management techniques, problem-solving methodologies, the application of Stephen Covey’s “7 Habits of Highly Effective People,” and fostering team dynamics for success.

Amrish’s illustrious career path includes significant roles at renowned organizations. He served as the Corporate Continuous Improvement Director at MillerKnoll, a prominent high-end furniture brand, and Brown Printing. At MULLER MARTINI CORP., where he held the position of President/CEO of the mailroom division, industrial manufacturing, and R&D facilities, Amrish managed a substantial P/L of $100 million. He also contributed his expertise as the regional director of Operations for Valassis/ADVO, overseeing facilities in California and Arizona within the packaging and direct mail/marketing sector, with a P/L of $160 million.

Amrish’s professional journey further encompasses key responsibilities at RR Donnelley, where he orchestrated multimillion-dollar “Greenfield” plant startups, managed plant operations, and provided domestic and international manufacturing support.

Academically, Amrish holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering, complemented by an MBA with concentrations in marketing and finance. His credentials also include certification as a Six Sigma Black Belt and Lean practitioner, underscoring his proficiency in driving organizational excellence through data-driven methodologies and Lean principles.
