Maintenance Root Cause Analysis

Root Cause Analysis for Maintenance

Event Start Date:

May 7, 2024

Event Start Time:

8:30 AM

Event Location:

Lutron Electronics

Are you fixing the root cause of your equipment failures, or just correcting symptoms, only to have the same problem come back again and again?

Executing permanent corrective actions on equipment failures is the pathway from reactive to proactive maintenance and true reliability excellence. This workshop will be hosted at a local manufacturing site and will provide hands‐on skills and strategies while teaching the fundamental tools of Root Cause Analysis. Root cause analysis is a suite of many useful tools, but it takes more than learning what the tools are to make you successful.

COURSE HIGHLIGHTS

Our workshop will facilitate actual root cause analysis with your people on your processes and equipment, using the most appropriate tools and help you answer questions like these:
  • How are problems communicated and defined?
  • How do I isolate problems to their process of origin?
  • What tools do I use to apply at each level of Root Cause investigation?
  • How do I get the most out of Root Cause investigations?

Who Should Attend

The program is aimed at current and aspiring maintenance managers, engineers, supervisors, planners, or anyone who has a direct interest in building and sustaining a world-class maintenance program.
