If your work areas are slowing down your processes and making your team members inefficient, then MRC’s 5S Workplace Organization Workshop is just the training you need to help kick-start improving those areas. Learn the basic 5S techniques presented through a simulation that resembles an actual shop floor, using a production line with assembly areas, tools, inventory, and workers. Participants will serve as employees in the operation.
This 5S Workplace Organization course consists of one day of classroom training where you will learn to reduce waste through a systematic application of the 5S System – Sort, Set-in-Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain.

Instructor | Gene Kaschak | VP, Continuous Improvement & Leadership Development Strategy
Gene has seen first-hand how the best improvement ideas usually get started by the people doing the work every day. His early projects in continuous improvement were focused on bringing these ideas to life by listening to small suggestions or comments and designing the proposed solutions for various manufacturing, operations, maintenance, product development, and information technology projects. As a Lean Coach with MRC since 2014, Gene’s focus now is to develop the scientific thinking skills in the local manufacturing community to bring these improvement ideas to life through daily experiments.
Note: All registration fees must be received in advance of the date of your event. MRC must be notified two weeks in advance of this event if you need to cancel, otherwise we can only grant a credit to another MRC event. Remember, you can also send a substitute.
