Lehigh Valley video contest raises awareness of Pennsylvania manufacturing careers

Exciting News Alert! The Bucks County Herald covered the 11th Anniversary of the upcoming “What’s So Cool About Manufacturing” (WSCM) Student Video Contest in the Lehigh Valley! This year, the contest welcomes 30 manufacturers and middle school teams from Carbon, Lehigh, and Northampton counties. Since its inception, this local contest format, pioneered by the Manufacturers Resource Center (MRC), has gained nationwide recognition, with 16 regional contests and stakeholders in 11 additional states adopting the program. The goal? To spotlight the innovation and opportunities within manufacturing careers, inspiring the next generation of talent. Stay tuned as student teams showcase their creativity and passion for manufacturing, and mark your calendars for the award show on March 26 at Lehigh University’s Stabler Arena, also broadcasted live on WFMZ-TV!
