Amber Morris, Workforce Initiatives Specialist, brings a rich background in community advocacy and cultural institutions in the Lehigh Valley to supporting education and youth engagement for the What’s So Cool About Manufacturing® initiative, and the WSCM Dream Team, to inspire the next generation of manufacturers.

Amber’s passion for theater has seen her work as a freelance artist, director, and entrepreneur, blending creative perspectives into her work at MRC.

In addition to her work at MRC, Amber is the lead developer for the visitor experience in the new living Lenape Village at the Museum of Indian Culture, set to open in Fall 2025. Her previous experience includes roles as the Education Outreach Specialist at PBS39, Director of Education and Community Partnerships at the National Museum of Industrial History, and Education Assistant at the American Swedish Historical Museum. Amber’s passion for education and community engagement extends beyond her professional roles, having built community engagement platforms at the National Constitution Center and the Philadelphia Zoo.

Amber’s first love was theater, a passion she continues to foster in her spare time. She has worked as a freelance theater artist and entrepreneur, founding two companies and collaborating with over 15 theater companies across the NY, Washington D.C., and Philadelphia areas. Her focus has been on ensemble-devised theater and directing new works, and she continually seeks to incorporate her theater director skillset into her community outreach initiatives at MRC.
