Rich, MRC’s new president and CEO, is a high-performance, results-driven senior executive with a distinguished career in broad-based manufacturing/distribution. His experience spans substantive roles in engineering, management, and senior business leadership with firms that include multi-plant operations in both domestic and international markets.
Rich will guide MRC’s vision and strategic direction, as well as managing the organization’s day-to-day activities and operations. Rich will serve as MRC’s primary spokesperson, conveying its mission and activities to key constituencies and the general public, and will provide the organization with internal leadership.
Rich will serve as spokesperson and champion for small and mid-size manufacturers and manufacturing related organizations, striving to enhance their ability to compete successfully by ensuring they are provided with effective consulting, education and strategic partnering opportunities.
Over the years Rich held a variety of senior leadership roles with manufacturers throughout PA. Prior to coming to MRC, many remember Rich as General Manager of the Diamonex Products Division of Morgan Technical Ceramics, in Allentown. Before coming to MRC he was Senior Director of U.S. Operations at SWM International in Alpharetta, GA, a leading global provider of engineered solutions and advanced materials, where he had P&L responsibility for 10 U.S. operations, $500MM sales, and 1,500 employees.
Rich earned his Bachelor of Science (BSME) in Mechanical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University, State College, PA, and an MBA in Operations from Temple University, Philadelphia, PA and he holds one patent.
