Foundations of Lean
As the foundation of a Lean Enterprise, standardization sets expectations for process performance and provides the basis for problem-solving and continuous improvement. This program features blended-learning through a mix of classroom instruction and hands-on experimentation in MRC’s Lean Enterprise Works (LEW) factory simulation.

Lean Enterprise Overview introduces the Lean philosophy. Participants take Lean concepts from our classroom and apply them to our hands-on manufacturing simulation.
Lean Culture Immersion
Go, See, and Learn at the Original Gemba! The Kentucky Lean Tour is a three-day experience guided by Mike Hoseus, co-author of Toyota Culture: The Heart and Soul of the Toyota Way. This unique training opportunity is designed and offered only for MRC’s manufacturing community in Eastern Pennsylvania.
Lean Master Certification
A Lean Enterprise is more than a collection of improvement tools, a Lean Enterprise aligns an organization’s purpose with its people and its processes. Our Lean Master Certification program features blended learning through a mix of classroom instruction, instructor-led exercises at host companies, and one-on-one coaching for each participant.
Lean Office
The concept of Lean manufacturing is gaining acceptance beyond the shop floor. Now, attendees can gain hands-on experience through a live simulation in a traditional office environment. During this workshop, participants take on various roles, including customer, manager, sales department worker, and quotation expert.
Problem Solving
The Lean philosophy requires an organization to create and sustain a problem-solving culture. Our Problem Solving course teaches these techniques through a hands-on exercise. Participants use a standard A3-Style PDCA form to break down a problem and test potential countermeasures in a small-group setting.
